Bassist, composer, and arranger Amina Scott is a faculty member for the Loyola University New Orleans and the University of New Orleans, and a strong advocate for women's representation in the music industry. Her performance history includes collaborations with the the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra as well as renowned artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Steve Turre, Wessell “Warm Daddy” Anderson, Nicholas Payton, David Murray, Jamison Ross, Joanne Brackeen, Herlin Riley, and Christian Scott Atunde Adjuah.

Word of Manon Mullener on Art & Culture

Manon Mullener, born in 1997 in Fribourg, Switzerland, is a jazz and Latin-inspired pianist and composer. Starting piano at age four, her passion for jazz led her to study in Cuba as a teen and later at the Bern University of Music. Her 2023 album, Insomnia, kicked off a European tour with her quintet. Named one of Swiss jazz’s rising talents by Le Temps, she has performed widely across Europe and Latin America. Manon also hosts the Jazz am Sunntig radio show on Radio RaBe and launched a podcast, Jazz am Sunntig Unplugged, featuring New York jazz artists in 2024.
