The Artist
Under the name Dudu Alvear, multi-instrumentalist and composer José Pino has developed a distinctive voice in contemporary electronic music. His academic background at the Zurich University of the Arts laid the foundation for his passion for sound synthesis, digital composition, and experimental performance.
The album Night in Hong Kong (La casa de nadie Records, 2025) marks a defining chapter in his artistic path—where technical precision meets immersive, cinematic storytelling. On stage, he brings the album’s compositions to life through live electronics and open improvisation, reshaping each piece in real time.
