From the Andes to the Alps: The Post Punk Experience by La casa de nadie
José Pino and Santiago Segura first crossed paths at Radio Canela in Quito, Ecuador, where their shared love for the guitar sparked a lasting friendship. During their university years, they formed a band that quickly gained local recognition. Now, two decades later, they reunite in Switzerland, bringing their evolved sound to a new audience.
Their latest project is a powerful fusion of post-punk influences, blending the grinding edge of electric guitar with deep, electronic basslines to create dark, melancholic soundscapes. This music is raw, intense, and filled with the energy of their shared history, as well as their individual growth as musicians. The result is a fresh, compelling sound that bridges continents and genres, resonating with an incredible power.
